Okay so heres the deal. Im currently working full time and attending school part time in new york. To make life easier, i've decided to purchase a car. So, i got my motorcycle license last summer and bought a 2003 Kawasaki ZX6R for $5000. My insurance from Progressive was $1700 for the year (full coverage). I rode it for two months before it got stolen. In those two months i got one ticket for straddling lanes. Once the bike got stolen i got all my money back. Now, I'm looking to get the same bike again. I just called Progressive and they want $6056 per year for full coverage!!!! And if i were to buy a brand new 2007 model it would be $10000!! So, $6056 for a $5000 bike? And $10000 for a $9000 bike? What gives? One ticket and the theft did this? I don't get it. What are my options?

Do I need gap insurance?

I have an 05 nissan 350z with 30000 miles on it. kept in very good condition. KBB quotes my vehicle trade in value at $18,337. I paid $19,???. I put $5,000 down. so now i have to pay with interest $18,???. I have full coverage insurance, but no gap insurance. If i totaled my car would I be screwed?

Problem with Car Insurances? HELP PLEASE - Will rate best answer.?

Well, I am 17, so this is very annoying but I have a big problem now. Last week I was getting Quoted for Car insurance, the quote was around 1.7k for a Corsa, This I could stretch to, but today I try and get a quote and the smallest quote is around 5.5k, What has changed? something has, I have made sure all the details are exactly the same for my old one which was quoting me at 1.7k and my new one which is quoting me at 5.5k for some reason, Please help or give any ideas thanks a lot.
